Theres quite a few thumbnails missing on the frontpage. Is there a workaround to see the content?

Not sure if this is your problem, but in the bottom right corner it says (# of posts hidden) try clicking on that.

It's because they got too many down-votes. I'm not a particular fan of it indiscriminately hiding everything that gets a negative score but whatever, it's not my website.
